Anyone else heard of these guys?

Yup, Karl blogged about them a while back.
I also think it’s genius. A huge gimmick, but very smart.
I am curious about their profitability. They don’t post pricing (not smart) so I really have no idea where their prices are.
I am wondering how much people would pay to have these guys do the work.
That’s really the most important question.
I don’t entirely agree that not posting prices is hurting their business. That works
best for price shoppers but horribly for lead generation. I would advise against
pricing if I were to consult with them. I would tell them they need to show me
what sets them apart other than the kilts. Novelties wear off.
I can’t find one reason to contact them over a competitor. Is kilts
a reason?
To be honest I don’t think this business is playing it up enough. Their site is
sorta flaccid. They need to inject more personality. Their site needs a
good copywriter to re-write it and breath some life into it.
Once they decided to go with the ‘men in kilts’ and the ‘no peeking’ theme, they
now need to go all the way. She can’t be sorta pregnant.
As this sits now, it is not genius. It’s a half hearted attempt at standing out
On a safety standpoint- not good to have loose clothing on while working. I have got my cargo shorts caught on an extention ladder more times than I can think of when coming down from a roof.
