I was soft washing a winery earlier today in south jersey that had three different facade types; metal, dryvit and brick. Here are some before and after shots of the metal. I was using a flojet G57 air driven pump. Trusted Window Cleaning and Pressure Washing for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Deleware | Bethany Associates
Nice job!
I was cleaning a metal roof yesterday as well. For this I do a quick sweep, and then use a waterfed pole with the Mr. Longarm Flo-thru brush Mr. LongArm Bi-Level Flow-Thru Brush | Window Cleaning Supplies, Tools, Equipment, Products and a gentle solution like simple green. Other than being a good workout I’m thinking soft wash method may be smarter, safer and easier. What kind of cleaning agent do you use for metal roofs?
What was you mix?
I used SH with a surfactant to help it cling for dwell time. I ran hot since the temps were low and I had to race against time; 50/50. I was racing against a heavy rain storm that was coming in late morning so I had to have everything done before I got washed out. We just made it and the customer was pleased. I was pleased as well.
Nice job Jared, which winery was it?
Very nice!
Valenzano Winery up on rt. 206, Hammonton
Typical roof mix? straight application not downsteamed right?
Nice job, Jared.
Yeah, this was done as a soft wash. I did use pressure on one area that I need a little more power. Landed two homes from the service. That’s always a nice add on.
Nice Work Jared.
