Minivan / van people

This is what Im dealing with, except I still have one seat in the back on the drivers side…

That is one sweet ride!

So a bucket seat, not a bench? And it’s in the far back, or the middle? Will this be a dedicated work vehicle? And how elaborate do you want to get with equipment, like a tank mount WFP system?

If you don’t want to bolt anything down, I would go with a few big rubbermaid containers. Are you putting a rack on it? I like the Thule 300, very heavy duty and you can put it on any vehicle regardless of having a raingutter or not (just ad artifical raingutter attachments).

A vehicle like that could hold window cleaning gear for 4 guys if packed full. Sectionals or combination ladders on one side of the interior & rubbermade stackable totes on the other side along with ladders on a ladder rack up top… good to go.

What does the outside look like?

Looks new

#1 all that carpet gotta go.

Rhino line the floor.

Mount a pressure washer behind the passenger seat next to the one middle bucket seat.

Those PVC tubes with screw on ends? Mount one on the roof on the ladder rack. Put WFP in there and store brush separately in a box in the van.

Just a few ideas.

Mount a hose reel to the ceiling above the pressure washer, for WFP hose. That way you can open either door and roll it out either way.

I’ve got a full size Chevy that was originally a passenger van. I’ve kept the carpet in it. It’s quieter driving down the road and it’s comfy on my knees when I crawl in to get stuff. I just don’t worry about water leaking out of hoses, etc. That said, I am in Phoenix and don’t have to worry about rust.

It WILL be a dedicated work vehicle as soon as I find another one just like it for MY work vehicle. Not getting too crazy, except I may get some reels and keep the tank inside the van.

Haha mine looks a lot better than the one in this pic. Looks like someone bought it to cart people around, and never ended up carting people around in it

It already has a OEM rack on it, serves its purpose for the time being. I actually went out and got some flip-top totes for equipment, we’ll see how that works out today

The locking conduit carrier for poles is already in transit

This is what my van looks like on the inside. Not much to look at from the outside. It’s a Chevy Express 1500 V8. Need it wrapped soon!

For my mini van to hold all our hunting gear and keep it from sliding around my husband just cut a 4x8 plywood sheet to fit the space (to make a bottom and two sides) and then bolted sliding bins and gun racks to that to make it easy to take in an out when we are not needing to use it. We just empty or remove the items from the racks and bins, then remove the plywood base and store it in one of our sheds the other 8 months of the year. Sorry I don’t have a photo and I can’t take one showing it installed since it is not in the van right now. I made a fabric cover that sticks with velcro to the back of the second row of seats to hide the gear when parked so no one will try to break in and grab the guns.
