If so… Care to share?
Coming up with a sound mission statement is very difficult. It takes constant tweaking and attention, which I’m still in the process of doing.
However, it has helped me “put my money where my mouth is” and not just talk a great game but actually use it as a rutter to guide the ship.
I love that page, great job!
We are creating mantra instead.
Good topic, good thread.
We had been wanting to get a mission statement started for a while and it just seemed to get put on the back burner.
This is the statement we worked on this winter. Still a work in progress. Please feel free to critique or comment. I feel it still needs some work.
Our mission at Noble Window Cleaning is to be recognized as the best window cleaning company bar none. This will be accomplished by practicing our (nose to glass) approach that was adopted when the company was started. Our commitment to quality first will help establish lasting relationships with our customers by exceeding their expectations and gaining their trust through exceptional performance by every member of our staff.
I find mission statements are all the same, just worded differently.
For those who have a mission statement could you recite it word for word if asked by a customer?
I’m with Steve on a mantra instead.
We decided to go w/ a Mantra instead of a mission statement.
Ours is: Saving People Time
I think that what you got is good! If I could critique at all, I would ask if this is more of your vision for your company instead of your mission to the end-user. The reason I state this is because many people believe that a mission statement should be accomplished daily, while a vision is something that is a goal that is long-term. Such as becoming the best w.c. company bar none.
Thank you for a thoughtful input. Very helpful. Gives meaning to the word Strive.
