Alright, has anyone tried the black diamond hard rubber in a moerman liquidator? whats your opinion? Would it be better than the ettore soren rubber?
Here check out this thread, seems people like the black diamond in the Liquidator.
There some other good threads about it also.

Ok that’s it – I am gonna get the Black Diamond for my Liquidators. Been hearing this from so many guys lately.
Plus it is hot weather season and the Moerman rubber risks leaving rubber smears. I can eliminate this problem by adding lotsa water to my applicator though. Better not have to eh?
Soren is for the wide body channels… If I remember right
Your memory is correct
I was just reading some kind of show case thread that was espousing the great virtues of this rubber and then when I clicked on the link it said he was no longer using it due to a bad batch.
I was ready to order some too. Has the product been improved?
I’ve been using Moreman soft rubber for about a year and a half now, including during summer, with no problems really. Just bought some Black Diamond hard rubber last week and gave it a test run. My one window cleaner gave up trying to use it on the first house we had it at. I gave it a go and have mixed feelings about it.
Right now I keep getting about a dozen faint lines on half of my strokes. I am not sure if it is a technique problem switching from soft to hard rubber, but the results are a bit disappointing. I have used rubber from a 12 inch pack and a 20 inch pack to ensure it wasn’t a bad batch issue. The rubber definitely glides well. I just used it at a dance studio that has mirrors for walls and had those line issues again. Hopefully they don’t show up since the studio is dimly lit.
It hasn’t improved I just tried sum in my Sorbo And it sucks. That’s the 2nd time I have tried it will stick with Sorbo rubber and ettore rubber
Im not sure which thread you where reading.
Ive been using the black diamond hard rubber daily for a while now and havent had any issues with it.
That being said i believe every rubber manufacturer as had issues at one time or another.
Here is a little example of the lines I am getting. Doesn’t matter what angle or pressure I am using and these appear. Probably won’t order black diamond again.
Sorry the forum software here is a little weird, but I was looking at this link about the rubber:

When I clicked on the video link the guy said he wasn’t using it anymore because of a bad batch.
Like I said I was all gung ho to order some from the link and then saw that video and said pause time.
I looked at this picture on my computer at home (posted it at the job today). Now that I look at it, those spaces are so even and consistent it is pretty probable it is the manufacturing process and I got a batch of bad rubber. Oh well, waste of $$$.
