I have this moerman handle and the button that allows you to go between 40 and 0 degrees is stuck so it won’t lock in either position. Anyone ever see that on their handle? It’s all plastic, so my guess is there is nothing to replace, but before I just epoxy it in the 40 degree position permanently, I thought I’d ask if anyone here has a solution. I have already tried banging, prying, and cussing it loose, to no avail.
I’ve been about as rough as I can be with it without ruining it! Rarely used it in 0 degree mode anyway, but it was handy to have when needed. Time to glue that sucker at 40 and be done with it.
Used to be a problem for me until I learned to squeeze it from both sides. Problem solved. Also I wouldn’t be in to big of a hurry to glue it in place. With some thinking outside of the box, you could actually use zero degree quite often. I would say that I do so every week; residential and commercial.
This thing is permanently a 40 degree handle now. Could not get the jammed button unstuck. No big deal…I can get another one if I miss the 0 degree feature. Thanks for the ideas.
Try soaking the handle in a bucket over night. Had one of mine get funky and that fixed it. They’re kind of a flimsy design but I love how it feels at the 40 degree on the glass.
