Most efficient RO Filter setup - top or bottom out flow?

Hi everyone

I’m building a pure water filter cart and I’ve seen commercially produced carts that have the RO filter outlet (pure water) on the bottom and others at the top. Is one configuration more efficient or better than the other? I’ve searched the web and found conflicting information. Thanks!!
