Most expensive residential dwelling in the US

The late Aaron Spelling left this incredible masterpiece of architectural proportions to his wife Candy and she is selling it for a cool 150 million dollars. Give or take a mil.

Can you imagine being the window cleaning company that took care of the glass on this monster? The one man show operation would be forced to either turn it down or dedicated their whole business to the care of the glass on this monster. It is not only huge at over 50k in square footage but is just chocked full of glass.

Dwight,
It seems like the average amount that someone in the $500,000 can spend on their windows per year is .3% of the value of the home. that’s $1500.00 I would only ever do that home If I had it at that calculation. $450,000.00/yr. Of course pending accurate math skills LinO

Are they taking bids?

Don’t we wish! I’d send in 4 guys and smash that baby out in no time!

Dwight, since it’s on the market, why not go after it?

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

They are broadcasting that it’s for sale, maybe they would appreciate the call.

Sorry Tony, i already have this account @ $4.00 per pane.

Yes i am a one man show…

thanks for shopping

At the risk of seeming gullible…

Are you serious?

they say its the most expensive house ever

I’m way ahead of you. I put in my bid when the house went on the market some time ago. Unfortunately my 50k bid went unnoticed I believe.

Did you really bid it at 50k?

No…

Did you??

If not, how much did you bid it at?

I recently bid on a 35,000 sq.ft monster, for around $3700, and didn’t get it, because they said it was too high.

I was making a funny Kevin. It is located in California and I’m in Maryland. I think my travel expense alone would put me out of the running for the work. I was saying I put in a bid to buy the house.

you are about 150 million short my friend…

Oh, I’m dumb.

Sorry, although for $10,000 I suppose it would be worth the drive for you…

If anyone is near it, they should bit on that puppy.

Why not?

For $150 mil, it sure is ugly! With that kind of money I could build a fabulously beautiful place with TONS of huge windows! And hire one of ya’ll to clean them!

Dang place looks like a mausoleum and if I had to live there, I’d sure want to be dead!

So you won’t be buying it then

I remember seeing a show about a guy in Portobello who had his childhood small town completely built in his basement. Amazing home, just amazing. If I had the chance to sit with the realtor I would sell them on FEAR. Fear them about scratches an and how replacing the glass in the place would cost a small fortune. Then I would plant the seed how they need to make sure they hire a pro. “Imagine trying to sell this home after the windows were cleaned, only to find every window has a scratch.” “Why take that risk? To save a few bucks?” Then I would bid at $0.25 per window and toss in a free power washing.
Or I would try an get them to let me vaca in the place for the whole summer and clean it while there lol. But I would do the job for free if I could punch Tori in the face, just once…

In the words of quagmire "Giggity Garbage"
I hate that house, ugly!
I never understood, if I had 150 million to spend on a house I would have my own dream house built, just the way I want it. And why do they always think that people will pay more for some famous guys house anyways? Big deal if Aaron Spelling used to duke it in your on suite toilet.

That looks like one of those jobs where you are halfway through and thinking to yourself “This is going to take way longer than I thought…damn…”

Im already looking up plane tickets.

Psh, my jet’s being fueled up this moment. Lol
