… what about instead of the movable channel ( wagt…) a spring loaded handle that forms to your movements and pulls back to its natural form due to the springs after the squeegee is not being pressed ,. i suppose thats what the wagtail is / does anyway is it or is it not ? i had a spring loaded sort of fingy me jib handle in my mind then… ( bit complicated maybe )

When pushing it locks in that position.

Gives you more control also.
