Hi WCR fans, I thought this Video may help someone if you have never installed rain flow, or wonder what it would look like, how solid it feels in the gutter, what the “Y” cut was and so on. Plus I wanted a record that I could follow up much later and see how well Rain Flow stands the test of time!
If nothing else our home made Video might just be entertaining!

Thanks, making the Video was kinda fun. It was suggested to charge between $9 to $12 USD per foot, however since only about 40’ of the 136’ that was installed was 2 stories high, I just charged $9 per foot ( $1,224.00 total).
As far as how long, when we ( 2 of us) cleaned the ice out in early February it took 3 hours because we had to bust the ice with hammer as a small crow bar. This under normal weather would normally have taken less than one hour with two people. When we returned in March we first used a garden hose to flush completely all residue, then during the video only one at a time was working (about 25 minutes prior to editing) then we finished the total of 136 feet of installation. This part in March took the two of us just shy of 3 hours.
You know how much it cost to get Rain Flow from WCR, so even though both visits with work time lost to video time. we still tied up nearly 12 man hours and that still averages a fair profit for the job!
We were happy as February and March in Ohio we have more time than work to do, so $ was more important than how long it took! That changes though come April. Hope all this is helpful to you!
Thanks
Matt Perry
