Need help installing RHG brush on Xtel Pole

Thank you all in advance for helping me out on this question. I figure there must be an easy answer.

I bought a RHG brush and installed in on an Xtel Pole.

The problem I am having is that once I thread the brush on the pole, the brush is facing the opposite direction from the pole hose. Is there a trick to fix this problem?
Thanks
Padrick

I don’t know if I understand what you’re asking, but I’ll give it a try .

If you finish threading the brush and the bristles are on the same side of the pole clamps, just take it off and start threading the brush again but on a new starting position. It happens to me sometimes and that makes the trick.

Hope it helps.

That is a great idea. I have tried it a few times and keep expecting it to work. It just seems as if there is only one way to start the threads. Any other ideas?

Feel free to send me a photo…

But, if its the lightweight plastic brush(black with red bristles) you should just turn the gooseneck into the socket on the brush once more. This will straighten things out.

When I saw your thread title I knew what your were going to say the problem is because I’ve experienced it myself. I always do exactly what Shawn said to do because that’s pretty much all you can do to get the brush tight and in the correct position.

It’s better for the brush to be a bit tight than a bit loose so it won’t turn on you as you are WFP’ing.

Thank you to all! That’s exactly what I had to do. I was worried to tighten it too hard with the plastic threads.
