New Guy From Texas

My name is Jim, and I started cleaning windows in October of last year. I am in the central Texas area about 20 miles from Austin.

I came upon this site and have been following it since the beginning of the year as a guest. Wow, I have so much to learn about this business. I am a bit older than most of you, and not very proficient with computers, so please be patient with me. I have lots of questions.

I started out cleaning the windows on a friends house when a neighbor came over and asked me to do their house as well. Next thing I knew I had a business. It has grown pretty fast with a bit of effort, and referrals. I must say I enjoy the work, and the money isn’t too bad either! I really get a good feeling when the client raves about how clean the windows are after I finish a job. I want to get better, and faster, and look forward to this new line of work each morning! This is good, honest work, and it is very satisfying.

The feedback and help on this site are top notch! It’s good to have a supportive community to rely on.

The future looks bright!
Jim

Hi Jim.
I love that quite satisfaction, when I look back at a completed job.

Sounds like you’ve experienced it as well.
(yeah, it’s not a fine crafted wooden rocking horse, but it’s sure sparkles in the setting sun, more.)

Welcome!
