The two new poles from Ionics the E2 and E3 are pretty groundbreaking. My question is, if you were to run just a straight DI tank at 45- 50 psi, would you need to use a pump to get the water that high? Im sure you would right? Thats just insane hight for a water fed pole.
No, you would not big B.
Guys use Tucker 83’ pole without a pump.
Good point Doug. Not to mention that the Tucker uses 1/4" hose and Ionics uses 3/16" hose. That should also help w/ the pressure.
Ihave used tucker pole for over two years and have had nothing but head ache with them I got them shiped over here in 12ft sections and the weight is just to much for one man.
I bought the two ionic pole 65ft and a new ionic system the pressure over here in Australia is around 75psi straight from the tap and it gets the water up there but not much I can **** further.
I now use a 5mm ID Hose to the head with a 150psi pump that work out great.
I can work all day with one man and moving the pole up or down takes seconds without cutting myself. and lighter than any pole on the market in Aus.
Its the tool of for window cleaners using a wfp system I have bought a Ionic Quartz system and it cost me all up with poles around $12,000 AU and I would buy it again it work perfect everytime. Its has been a few months now and it has already paid for its self.
I would like to here any comments from anyone regarding water fed pole.
