New to contruction cleaning, quoting hotel

Hi folks,
I am still relatively new to the quoting of windows, even though i’ve been window cleaning for 10yrs, i’ve always worked for another company. Last year was my first year on my own and I’ve been doing prob 90% residential and i think my pricing system for that is pretty good. I got a request for a hotel construction clean though which i’ve never done a job this large before. Maybe you could look at my quote so far and let me know if its too high, too low, or any advice you could give to help me would be fantastic! There are 86 rooms, all with 4 windows per.(one 4x3, two-1 x 3 and one 8inchesx3 crankout with screen) Every window will need to be scraped cause the contractors, especially the painters were garbage. Paint mist on every window. Its 3 stories, so im going to add the price of a manlift on to save all the ladder climbs. I am quoting 3 guys labour($15perhour), 8hrs for 3 days to complete, plus manlift, plus gas and $4 per each pane surface…so $8 for in/out. Is there anything i am missing? Because the building is so large, would you lower the price per pane? As i said, new to this so any help would be awesome!!

thanks

Construction clean up is a specialty service. When i run figures for most jobs our hourly rate per man hr normally comes in between 45-65 so in my opinion your pricing is extremely cheap and u might jick ur self in the ass if you get the job for that price

Is your price a combination of all of the factors ? Labor $1060, Glass, 86X3X$8 = $2752, plus gas plus manlift
Total $3812 plus gas and lift ?

with a job like that its better when you clean one window ( one of the dirtier ones ) your self to see what your getting into… then ask the Hotel owner if thats the standard he wants … you could then work your price around that…or abstain

Yes, my price was based on a combination of all listed factors,…the hourly rate was just what i was taking into account for my workers wages…

Hey Steve, No i would never quote based on what i pay my employees…its a combination of their wages, the lift, and the glass quoted per pane how i figure out my quote price. I just am unsure if quoting commercial is pretty much the same as residential or do you charge more or less per pane when quoting commercial. I don’t quote by the hour anymore because the faster you get, the less you make!
