New Truck lettered

I got my new truck lettered a few weeks back. I originally wanted to get it wrapped but ended up going with the dark green because the deal was too good to pass up. My wrap design did not work at all with this color so just opted to get basic lettering . I could have changed it up to work but the lettering guy talked me into just doing lettering but in the end I am happy with it. What do you guys think? Didn’t get it outfitted with racks or anything just yet, next few weeks!

Is there a picture of the truck?

Sorry I am so new I don’t know how to post a pic in a message? I don’t see the option to do so?

Looks sharp! I think it works well with the dark green.

Just a thought (and this is completely personal preference), but I would try and see if I could pull the badging off without causing any damage. Particularly the “SILVERADO” lettering on the side doors. It kinda detracts from your message, imho.

And I’ve never understood why some manufacturers feel the need to brand their vehicles so strongly. Maybe because their trucks are indistinguishable from their competitors? At any rate, I’m glad I don’t have scion/toyota logos across the side of my car… :open_mouth:

Yeah kind of looks like part of the logo.

I would try a heat gun on low heat, followed by a plastic detailing/cleaning chisel.

Use WD-40 and magic eraser to remove any residue.

Buff with Maguires scratch remover or similar, if there’s any scuffing from the chisel.

Edit: try what @buzzlightyear said, first. Definitely a better approach

Don’t worry about the truck logo. It literally doesn’t matter. Its not going to make or break you getting a job. Instead of wasting your time figuring out how to get those off, go knock some door and land a few jobs. Stay productive doing things that make you money.

Very nice- professional, clean and eye catching!

Looks good. And +1 for taking the Silverado letters off the side.

Agreed. It’s not gonna kill you to leave it on or take off… but why not ‘finish’ it?
If you can spare the time… make it clean and crisp.
(I lost $2 bucks in the time it took to make this post… what ever will I do?!?)

But I’ve got this window.
On this house.
It’s clear… you can see through it.

What would you charge, for… a bunch of them?

No time for chit chat… how much should I charge?
I’m standing at their doorstep… they are staring at me.
