I think you are on the same page. It is a pail with Dry Storage built into it. I am a big BOAB user but I hated having to cram rangs and tool in my belt, but I also hated goingcto the truck for more rags or tools so I constructed a pail with built in dry storage for my work orders, rags, scraper blades, squeegee blades, screw driver and brass clips.
I use it for our floors at home (coated concrete) and on some CCU projects.
In both cases, clean solution on one side and rinse water on the other.
That’s the one Larry - mine is exactly the same as that. I have a plastic insert that I insert in one of the sides that I can take out to fill (came from another bucket). I also have a wrapped handle, this one is a real digger. Not the nicest bucket to carry though, I use 3/4 different styles of bucket depending what job I’m doing.
The great thing about this bucket is you get the depth for your scrubber & use less water & solution for quick jobs.
I like the idea of using a bucket like this. Hook it over the frame of a moped for doing store fronts. You can have your belt around your waist and your extension pole in a holster like in an old western movie rifle holder on the horse. Call your self “scooter-squad Window Cleaning” Get a hat with a propeller on it, and a giant flag on a wagging pole off the back of your moped. You will KILL on gas mileage, and people in town will see the dork with a squeegee and want to hire him That’s Gold JERRY, THATS GOLD!
patent pending
That is the bucket we have all our guys put their equipment in between jobs and when they finish at the end of the day put in a locked office. Keeps their wet equipment away from their dry equipment and so they can keep track of everything a little easier.

Yup, me too. Double sided is THE way to go IMOP. I keep a variety of channel sizes handy, bootie boots, ladder mits etc. in the “dry” side.
The UPS man just rang the bell after leaving my new 19qt Rubbermaid double bucket and here is how it will work for me. On firsties and real dirties where I know it isn’t going to leak inside my Nylex brush will get dunked in one side and I will scrub the window, frames, and sill will alot of water kinda like John Germany does with his sprayer. After a quick swipe with a squeegee I will take the 14" strip washer from the other side in clean -er solution and clean as usual. Not all the time but when it’s needed and I will put to use the other ideas posted on this thread.
I have used double sided buckets for all my years, only occasionally use other larger buckets. I generally don’t hook my cloth on it because it does have a chance of getting wet, but I put my wand on water side, and squeegees, pads, scrapers, etc…on dry side. It is indispensable. Its not perfect but as I’ve said in the past I don’t use BOABs as a rule because I have hips. Cause I’m a women (and they definitely weren’t designed for one). I do use a BOAb attached to the top of my ladder to hold stuff when doing ladder work. It works great! When I have time, I will start working on my new line of window cleaning accessories for women, and hippy men (men with hips).
I will say that the rubbermaid buckets I have used for years have started to not be as high quality as they were. I used red ones, then could only find grey, and now am back to red. THey make an even smaller bucket double sided but it doesnt balance as well.
