I would like to hang fliers in my neighborhood, but a sign at the entrance says “NO SOLICITING”. Would I be violating that restriction or not?

I would skip it and go to the next one. If your from AZ as your name implies their are already laws in place about this. Either way i would do some research wherever you are from to find out. Also, each city can govern it differently! Thats why I hire a company to do it that way if they are in violation its their butt not mine!

A solicitation if you do not knock on the door, bother some one in any way shape or form or ask them for their business. A flyer is simply a “option” if the neighborhood says no trespassing then that’s a different story …
Go for it . I have before and received many accounts and not 1 call to stop putting out fliers if you do get that call play dumb and tell them your employees must of not saw the sign
Maybe you could go door to door just to introduce yourself. Of course if they happen to ask for an estimate while you’re there you could oblige

exactly what i would do…i had a condo neighborhood that i couldnt solicit so i did a mailing. I almost always hand deliver except in these situations.
