Is there anyone out there using Norwex window cloths on your jobs? If so, how and when are you finding them to work best? I asked Unger about them if the used these cloths with the indoor wfp system, they never heard of them… If you are not familiar with Norwex they have several microfibre cleaning cloths and are all the rage. Google it.
Nope.

Nope.
I prefer huck towels or scrims.
I do actually keep a few on the van. I use them sometimes to touch up a few drips or runs from the waterfed pole on hydrophobic windows. I use them on interior “cut-ups” because I find it to be faster then two straight pulls with a 6" squeegee and then all the wiping around the edges. They work great on beveled glass/mirrors. I also have one house that has a lot of interior railing glass secured by large rivets which makes squeezing a pain but the house is exceptionally clean and just needs a light bit of dust cleaned off. Using the norwex clothes has made those railing go from 3 hours to 15 mins!

So basically, you’re referring to the microfiber cloths?
They are microfiber with silver embedded and act as anti-microbial and use only water to clean streak free, not the ordinary mircofiber from Sam’s Club
Just a Question, but are you a rep for norwex, it kinda reminds me of a pampered chef thing

No nor do I know anybody that sells Norwex. You are correct lot like Tupperware, that’s what I’m trying to avoid. I did buy knock-off E-Cloths from Amazon to see if these work as good so I can figure how and when they are most effective. I did a house last Friday am at 10 and the hot sun was blazing the window on the inside, hard not to leave any streaks or huck towel marks. I could have used some killer app that day.
ordered a couple off ebay.
Pure water and norwex
Berrrrry Interesting indeed.
Keep us posted on the results! I might get some too
I happened to find a cloth under the sink I think we picked up at a home & garden show bout 6 months ago, no tag on it. So I slightly wet the towel and wiped down the stainless refrigerator and poof very clean. So for fun I took some canola oil and smeared it on and wiped if off with just a little water, clean. I’ll try it this morning on the East patio door in the sun and see how it does.
The wife got a bunch from her sister for Christmas. She loves them. Maybe I need to swipe one.

AllWashedUp lol from starting out my wife would only buy blue towels for herself, and she coined the phrase, “Blue is not for you” , your gonna be in the same boat
So I hit the patio glass door in direct sun after smearing some chicken left over from the rotisserie bar last night, lightly wet the pad and got good results then hit all the bath mirrors and was very pleased with the results. Hopefully my towels will be here tomorrow…

So what sre your ideas with the norwex??
i hope to implement it into my interior rezzy system.
Sometimes i find the speed clean “misses” a booger and hopeing the norwex can get em…
I think I can use them for interior/ext touch up especially on hot glass. I really want to use them with some system for interior hi sticking such as a lobby
Norwex cloths actually work pretty good if you are a homeowner, or want to touch up some streaks. Many of my clients use them to do their inside windows, or just maintain them. There is no secret to them at all, the science is no different then using a squeegee or a huck towel. They are like a microfiber cloth, but they have a bit of scrubbing power. From of what I’ve heard, you use one colored rag that is wet with plain water, and wipe the entire window. This first towel I believe has the most coarseness to actually scrub the glass, then use a different colored towel to buff dry. In theory the same could be done with a white scrubby and a dry huck towel. Or like a squeegee pulls most of the moisture off the glass, and you detail with a huck or scrim.
There is no magic to them as I routinely tell customers I could clean glass with muddy water and have them shine. It’s not the product, its the process. That being said I have never used them or intend to.
can’t wait to try them
I use them every day. I don’t touch glass with any other cloth. They are great.
