Hi to all members,Im Jeff from uk new to wcr,so here is my first cry for help.
I use Titan GG4 cleaning solution but dont seem to have much slip? anyone help please,Jeff.
Unger makes a solution you can add to your GG4 to give it a little extra glide. Some guys also like to add dish soap.
here is where you can find it
http://shop.windowcleaner.com/product.sc?categoryId=103&productId=376
There is also a product from Winsol called [URL=“http://shop.windowcleaner.com/product.sc?categoryId=114&productId=433”]Super Slip
I didn’t care for the Winsol version (seemed to thin). I use the stuff from that unmentionable Swedish guy.
I use dawn. I have some gg4, so sometimes I squirt a little of that in there too,
I like it. Pleanty of glide, but not toooo much suds.
The only soap I use is GG4. For the hotter days or big panes in direct sunlight I use the Winsol Super Slip. Can’t beat that combo, imo!
I use GG4 99% of the time. I just ordered a couple of bottles of Winsol Super Slip from WCR and will be trying it out.
I think the Winsol stuff will work fine just as the swedish guy stuff and the house brand slip from that unmentionable other store have worked just fine for me.
The swedish guy glide is way over-priced for sure. Other stuff works just as well and is much cheaper.
That’s because the other place is the lowballer of suppliers!
for slip i never will understand using dishsoap added to gg4. to me that is overkill. if your gonna use dishsoap anyways, save your money and just use that. if your gonna use gg4 and lack slip (which i did when i test run a bottle) i found adjusting your solution to suit the hardness of your water worked, in my case it meant adding almost double the soap solution. I no longer use gg4.
The cost for me outweighed any benefits. but that is just me. many love it out there and will continue to use it. just my 2 cents
Have you tried the Magmabullet?
Has anyone? Is this a real product or is it a late april fools joke?
I think super slip+ gg4 smells like yeast when left in your bucket for more than a day.
I clean my bucket every day. I wouldn’t do a job w/ yesterday’s water.
I’m going to get a couple and try them out. Thanks Karlos!
