Not taking new customers

Must be nice, I’ve been booked up about 1-2 weeks so far while still working my office job part time.

Want to leave my job by winter / early spring and do this full time.

The winter income will come in handy lol

And no way in hell I would have been able to juggle college work in the mix too

@Matthew That is a great problem to have! I don’t add new customers very often. I always keep about 10 people on a waiting list. I have been doing that for years. That way if I lose a customer I can replace them really quick. It works really well.

Another company close to me called me two days ago and asked if I could handle their overflow of customers. Went to their website and it looks like they have a crew of about 4-6 people. I’m solo and booked out until mid July but that’s only because I think it’s starting to slow down just a tad here, which means 10-12 calls a day instead of 15-20…a month or two ago in spring I was 6-8 weeks booked out.

Why not hire some help, and grow the business?
If it gets too big, then you could always sell the business?

Yep it’s the holy grail, and it’s a great place to be when you pick and choose the jobs that you do.
