when was the last time health care wasn’t a nightmare in this country?

im knee deep in this crap. if you think that it was bad before, that was nothing compared to this. hospitals are now shutting down and facilities everywhere have layoffs and hiring freezes in place thanks to the Obama llama.
Only in the house, senate has yet to act on it.

“THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING…”
The sky didn’t fall during one of the most expensive and unneeded military actions in our history
The sky didn’t fall during one of the worst ressesions
The sky didn’t fall during the housing bust
And the sky aint gonna fall because of obamacare.
But the sky might get a little closer…

I see we as window cleaners are going to pay higher payroll taxes in terms of medicare .9% to cover Obamacare, should we add a surcharge to our invoices to cover the increase? Kind of like all of the fuel surcharges we started seeing 6-7 years ago. Thank God all of my employees all have other good paying jobs with health insurance.

The sky won’t fall, but quality of care will…

I hadn’t heard that, that ****es me off, I pay enough already!
Looks like this would only apply to tintdr and maybe Chris…
The ObamaCare small business Medicare tax hike is a .9% increase on the current Medicare part A tax. Small businesses making under $250k in taxable profit don’t have to pay this ObamaCare small business tax increase. Employees with earnings under $200 / $250k don’t have to pay this either.
The whole thing bothers me. Yea, when its in full swing everyone will have access to coverage, but under the system, you will have to get in line for care. Imagine your wife/gf/mom discovering that she has breast cancer and then having to wait for treatment while the cancer advances.
I have already seen the horrors of it in action. I spent a few years working in Texas at a hospital for kids with special needs. These kids are the worst of the worst, the most fragile that you can think of. Of course, the government picked up the tab for their healthcare, but when Obama raided Medicaid/Medicare for $730 million and then forced cuts on it just to fund his flawed recovery programs, it stripped over 55% of the funding for their care. It made it very difficult to give them the high standard of care that they deserved. Our beloved governor came in to talk to us and promised that he would not let us close. This facility is one of his pet projects and he did just that.

See keeping the man down. Once I get close to 200,000 make checks payable to me not to the corp. Uhhh middle of changing business accounts, yeah, that’s it.
Pepsifrozen… Pretty sure that was billion with a B
You’re probably still a ways away from $250k profit, but I hope you get there soon!
You’re right. I didn’t realize that I put million until I saw your post and read it again.

Drs. Aren’t regulated yet . . . Eventually cash for medical services will talk and BS insurance will walk because people will default on their deductibles when it comes to costly treatments. One of my clients was telling me one of her wealthy clients was able to negotiate a $25k medical bill into $7k just because he offered to come down and pay cash that day. Similar to how I would schedule window cleaning clients, those who pay more get the best treatment.

Thanks for the clarification Larry, I guess 95% of my clients will be paying more taxes across the board so I’ll be giving them a discount on their invoice.
Oops, misread. Sorry. Close to $250.00 though. Almost enough for a section of a sectional.
Guess the .9% doesn’t apply to me either. Does anyone know it will effect your personal health coverage yet? I know for me every year the percent of retired pay will increase untill 2018 at 4% of retired pay. I’m sure in private sector costs are going way up or remaining the same? Time will tell I guess
That would be a god send
