This Is For My D2D Salesman What Are Your top 3 most common objections and how do you overcome them

Objections are:

  1. “I’m not interested”
  2. “You’re trespassing / there’s no soliciting here”
  3. “I already have a window cleaner”

Responses to these are:

  1. I don’t want to push my service on someone that wasn’t thinking about it already.
  2. It’s not professional to roll up where I’m not welcome or expected.
  3. I’m not interested in taking business from another cleaner.

I do not go door to door anymore because I agree with the homeowner on all of these objections. I’m not trying to be unkind to you, just trying to tell you that there are plenty of better ways to get business other than door to door. Do a search on here for marketing methods, watch steveO or Jersey’s podcast/youtube, not the TikTok kids that have pushy door-to door methods.

Door to door should just die already

I don’t do door to door anymore. I bought some small yard signs like realtors use and stick them in the ground out by sidewalk/street and pull them when I leave
