One positive about Doug, he dropped a lot of info for free.
Info that to this day, people are coming and talking about it

1. Just discovering, and expecting us to re-explain it all
2. or claiming it as their own. Patting themselves on the back, like we don’t know better.

Intersting to see people who went haywire.
Doug ran into tough times. (no excuses, but…)
McQuellen went from false arrogance to downright slippery/shady.
Mike the Window Cleaner went off the deepend and became this hateful, nasty person.
As for MiamiHirise, we all knew where HE was coming from, right off the bat.

I love the use of field stone.

• I’ve spent years collecting (digging up) for my own house.
  And I’m envious of areas where they are prevalent and collectable; Novi, Clarkston, etc…

that one’s way the freak out in Howell. Takes us an hour and a half to get there. but it’s one of those clients you can’t say “no” to, and we make it worth our while. it’s always a slog though, because it takes everybody we got full tilt all day to get it done, and we DON’T want to come back for day 2.

you should SEE the fish in the private lake here. they got a bridge that crosses over it headed out to the back 40, you can look over the rail and see pike swarming like minnows in there. it’s insane.

Thanks man. There were cobwebs all over the frames etc. I guess their window cleaner moved, so I’m their new window guy. I like working homes like this and some modern ones in the area more than track-homes. I really want a stack set for the modern types though. These clients are picky about detail and who they let into their homes, so it fits my niche quite well.

Demographics are interesting. Boulder is difficult to pinpoint until you’ve been here a while. I like the predictability of working outside of Boulder, but I love my clients here. It’s just different.

I did a semi-baller house Yesterday and today. They had a pool hall and a movie theater, but no b-ball.

I’m tired though… taking tomorrow off.

Honestly, I don’t like big ass homes/mansions. I run myself and a sub with experience when needed. If it’s not time-sensitive, I’ll do it on my own and give it a couple/few days.
