Oil Flo: Not just for windows

I’ve been using oil flow for a number of years on post construction cleaning projects but I recently discovered that Oil Flow is a great all-around solvent. I recently used it to remove baked on duct tape residue from the dash of a vintage BMW that I’m restoring. It removed all of the tape residue without damaging any of the plastic dash or instrument cluster components.

My wife also uses it to clean our glass top stove at home. I’m finding that it’s becoming my go to solvent to remove paint, silicone, glue or any other residue without damaging delicate surfaces.

Just thought I’d spread the wealth around a little. Next time you have a tough cleaning job think Oil Flo…

I always liked that stud but hated the smell. Was I using too much?

Ive known this for years!

I read the label

I use Sprayway for mine, and it’s great for granite counters.

They had a new Oil Flo Citrus scent at IWCA last year. I got a sample and it smells much better than the original stuff. I’m looking forward to its release.

Just be careful and always test to make sure it wont damage the surface… Also solvents can damage things over time… Not necessarily right away.

I have a carpet cleaning back round, and we use to use some solvents in particular situations and they worked great! But over time, they would damage the carpet backing causing de lamination… Just be careful.
