Old sash windows, multiple framed small paneld glass

What’s the best way to clean these? I’ve jus bought my first wfp, unger n lite…
Only done one job with it… Got 16 houses to do tmoz!!
Please give me some advice…

Are you talking about French panes? WFP works good on them. Just be patient clean the frames well first and then the glass and rinse like crazy

Yeh, I think so. There a bit like the ones on my profile pik… At the top half of the window, the whole window is like that… I’ve also got to do some houses that the windows are like that but over200 years old… There the original windows I think, and they are abit frale…

Be careful with the old ones… don’t put a lot of pressure on them and it may be a good idea to pre-scrub with ecover. I have found we have less issues with the glazing breaking further (we do some old homes too, sometimes the glazing needs redone) with the WFP than when we did traditional on the exterior. Be patient and like Phil said, rinse like crazy.

How are you liking the unger n lite?

Thanks buddie…will rinse like mad. Been real busy tday made£ 155… That’s good for my first day with the nlite… Always buy unger… It’s the titts!

Also, do eny of you guys know the bracket for tds levels? I’m at 5- 10… Had a lot of probs with setting up my ro unit, low pressure also not really knowing the set up, but mostly the company I got it off just took me for all they could get out of me…:frowning:
But it’s all good now am earning sum coin!!

you may want to add DI after your RO but 5 should be ok, I try to get 0-1 TDS. 10 you may get by with but any higher you will more likely have some spotting issues.

Yeh, I’ve got a di, also a booster pump… Can I run the booster all day and night? Or will it burn out? I’ve heard they do, just bought a timer switch for it, but when it’s off the levels get higher…
