See there are many different ways to turn ON/OFF water on WFPs most mechanical ones.
Bending tubing etc.
Is labour intensive in many ways.
How many people use wireless ON/OFF water switches that may be used via remote on pole.
To a solenoid water shut off valve switch at the water supply.
Anyone here have heard these remote ON/OFF wireless switches. ??
*Is it in the future or is it already here.*
Thoughts anyone please.
Good idea, maybe something like this added to system, you can use phone to turn on off.Amazon.com
yes it is here. spring europe has a controller that works with their pump controller. not only does it turn on off but aldo can increase or decrease the flow and it uses a different system than most so it is able to travel when buildings in the way and if that’s not enough it works also with an app on your phone!!!
Is it this one you talking about??
YES it is

Have got a similar Wireless ON/OFF switches as above??
All you need is a simple ON/OFF 12 volt 1/2 inch solenoid switch in line at water supply end.
And small remote on your pole held on by a strip of Velcro.
If you DIY cost would be under 20 bucks.
yes i did that 2 years ago. now i just attach the fob to the front of my shirt as it stays safer. the remote i use is about 50 bucks here although there are cheaper on amazon. works good in line of sight.
Thought that it is more updated now, remote that has better distance.
Example:
Remote Control Transmitters and Receivers on 151MHz and 154MHz
The 151MHz remote control transmitters and receivers are designed to give an operating range of up to 5000 metres with low current consumption of 85mA.
The 151MHz frequency is not affected by natural or man-made electrical interference.
This makes it an ideal choice for long range commercial and industrial applications.
Believe that is all most people want simple low cost ON/OFF switch without other options.
I believe they are here already. But why? How can bending a tube be more labor intensive than carrying around some device with a switch on it?
This video and still using it now?
Shawn, that link doesn’t work.
See that the Fill N Go and the Spring are both controller directly to your pump.
Both at a good price as well.
Which is OK if that what you want.
Believe most people just like to have something that cut the water On/Off without wiring up to the pump itself.
Also be fraction of the price of the others.
Hello! May I please ask where you found 151Mhz transmitter/receiver with that range? Thanks for the info : )
Brilliant idea. Let me know soon as you find one.
And how about a TDS meter on the pole that constantly monitors your water?
OK thought give everyone the heads up.
Have just received ON/OFF device for the pole hose/tube.
Have to give a few days see how it goes.
Make a video show how easy it is to use.
Best thing is it only cost me 40 cents .
Call me when you have an on/off robot that can work like me
