Here it is this morning in the field.
Nice… You going to wrap the truck? Is it a Sequoia?
Thanks- it looks great and ought to pay for itself quickly! I have a 6x10 that should be here next week and am on the fence between a full wrap like yours, or just logos and lettering.
It’s a 4Runner. No I like just a magnet so it doesn’t look like a work vehicle when I don’t want it to.
I did it more to set my business apart from the amateurs. When I show up people always seem impressed. It’s also a great billboard. Would cut vinyl do the same thing? Possibly. It’s more of a nice to do then a need to do, but it made sense for my business at the time and I’m happy with the decision.
I have no doubt it will pay off
I have my truck lettered. I want it to look like a work vehicle every place I go. I call it the bill board and park it in the most prominent spot I can find. Since I had it lettered in May I have picked up over 15k in work. 11 of it from one person who I knew but he didn’t know what I did.
Oh I dont doubt it’s marketing power. I still have my “day job” as a manager for Starbucks. I need to separate the two so I don’t want customers asking about my business while I’m at work. I make low 60s at sbux and am not ready to give that up…yet.
Ok…
My situation is almost exactly the same as yours. I work full time and window clean on my days off. I also currently work out of my Toyota 4 Runner.
My question is, why did you decide to go with a trailer over purchasing a good used van or something?
I initially thought of purchasing a trailer but am a little scared to haul a 32’ ladder on the 4 runner.
I was thinking of just buying a nice cargo van that could haul ladders over purchasing a trailer. Seems like they are about the same price.
What is your opinion on this?
Can I ask where you had the work done, We are on the island and need some wrap work done
