Paint removal from awning canvas?

Can anyone suggest any products?

goes beyond cleaning to restorative, and most likely replacement. Not your fault, unless you got the paint on it. What type of paint? whatever it is, it is most likely dried and embeded in the fabric. Painter should be replacing imo.

Thanks! …Water based.

yeah, even water based “dries” and putting water on it does not reconstitute it, unless it is not cured…like if your painting and you slop some on the ground, you can hose it off right away, once dried…it takes a putty knife to get off…and thats hard surfaces. Once in fabric…it is “in”…and barring damaging the fabric trying to scrub, off…without chems…you mostly likely will change the texture, fabric, color etc etc…throw in some chems and it can get worse, for paint. Normal dirt and such…will come out…eventually and evenly if cleaned right.

Check with a local carpet cleaning supply house such as Interlink, Waxie, DonJon.
There are great chemicals for relatively easy removal of paint.
It may take a post treatment neutralizer and lots of rinsing but dried paint does come out of fabric.
