A new client has paintball stains on an exterior window, been there a few years baking in the Arizona sun.
I have not seen it yet myself.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I once cleaned a window that fell victim to a drive by paintballing. It had also been baking in the sun for a while. My advice is get it as wet as possible in hopes of reconstituting the soft shell of the paintball itself. On the window I dealt with there were a number of little “shells” baked on the glass, as well as the paint itself. I’m no expert but it is my understanding that paintballs are developed with a sort of detergent, to make clean up of clothes/equipment easier. So if you just wet the window real well, let it sit a lil perhaps, ome back wet it again, use your 6" scraper that should clean it up. Let me know how it goes. Cheers, Justin.
Thanks for the advice; I’ll be checking it out tomorrow.
6" blade or bronze wool.
Other than the lack of rust is there an advantage of bronze wool over steel wool?
My ex’s brother’s car was paintballed by Whitney Houston in a Quick Chek parking lot in Mendham NJ a few years back.
No, I did not just make that up, there were witnesses
Of course the rust will cause scratches. I like the bronze wool because it lasts a long time. I bought the block item (just checked WCR and didn’t see it) that I attach bronze pads to and it works nicely for making sure I cover the glass evenly. Other than the rust I don’t know that there are other advantages.
Success!
Goof Off + Steel Wool + Elbow Grease = a very happy customer!
