I have children/pets, will they be affected by cleaning processes/chemicals?
Yes, they will love the fragrance and depending upon how dirty the glass is, expect some vision improvement.
Depends on what you use. Some people still like to clean with harsh chemicals like ammonia. I use those kinds of things very sparingly as they do have their appropriate place. Typically I use a cleaner that would have no adverse affect on anyone.
There is a danger to your children and some animals with the chemical we use. In fact it has affected my 4 year old in a hurtful yet humorous way. While the chemical itself does nothing adverse it does get our sliding glass door gets so clean that my son has walked into it after we cleaned it. The next day he put his hand out to check to see if it was closed and fell through an open door. It was hard for me not to laugh while consoling him. This same sort of thing happens to the wild quail quite frequently in our area as well. Although I don’t console the quail like I do my children…my cats do.
We bathe our children and dog regularly; the cat not so much.
