Placing an order. What else should I purchase?

Hello everyone. Looking to get everything I need all at once. So far in my cart I have:

Bucket w/ lid
Scraper, holster, & replacement blades
Belt, holsters, hip clips, boab
Track brush
Microfibers
Chamois skins
10lbs huck towels
Disposable shoe covers
Gutter cleaning scoops
Unger OptiLoc 12ft 3 section
Winsol crystal clear - quart
Winsol super slip - gallon
Glass gleam 4 - gallon
Ettore t-bar 18"
Ettore complete t-bar/cover 14"

Handles, channels & rubber:

Contour pro plus handle for thicker/aluminum channels (2)

Moerman liquidator complete 14"
Sorbo 3x4 quicksilver 14"
Sorbo 3x4 quicksilver 18"
Sorbo 3x4 quicksilver 24"
Sorbo natural squeegee rubber 14" (12)
Sorbo natural squeegee rubber 18" (12)
Sorbo natural squeegee rubber 24" (12)
Pulex swivel t-bar & microfiber 6"

I already have (2) 18" blue microfiber mop covers, an ettore swivel handle and 24" aluminum channel.

I just can’t remember which size contour pro plus handle fits the Sorbo 3x4 channels and which rubber is best.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Looking to click check out shortly!

Also, is that a good size pole? I can’t remember which size I had back when I worked for FISH but I remember it being the Unger 3 section.

I’m looking into ladders for local purchase.

The best handles in my opinion… also a lot of other members here, are the Unger ninja handles. They will go great with your Sorbo channels . Get yourself a set of Sectionals  . Also I’m partial to the garlick sticks been using them since day one

Oh an good luck glad you escaped the fishes.

Scraper, holster, & replacement blades - Get the Ninja Scraper, it’s the best thing on the market and you can thank me later.

Belt, holsters, hip clips, boab - Get at least 4 hip clips, they tend to break

Chamois skins - What is this for? I’m not sure I’d have a use for it other than washing my truck. But definitely get a couple of scrims, then just use the hucks for backup

Winsol super slip - gallon - I’m not sure you really need this, but I’ve never used it…

I just can’t remember which size contour pro plus handle fits the Sorbo 3x4 channels and which rubber is best. The Sorbo rubber is really good. You could probably buy the 72" rubber and cut to fit. But you’ll need the “super channel” handle which has longer bolts to accomodate the widebody channels.

Also, is that a good size pole? I can’t remember which size I had back when I worked for FISH but I remember it being the Unger 3 section. You probably had the unger optiloc 12’ 3 section pole. Those are good poles. I switched to ettore, but after glueing the collars on for the 3rd time (curse you jb weld!) I’m probably going to go back to optiloc.

An 8 footer is a good starting pole… 12 is a little much to start off with. Plus it’s heavier…

I found the scraper you just slide instead of taking a cap off because I get so sick of doing so. But I’m getting the holster for an open scraper anyways because of that so I will switch to the Ninja.

Chamois, I used them with my first window cleaning employer here an there to detail an basically just clicked add to cart just to have some in my truck.

From the beginning I’ve always went with just blue dawn dish soap. But lately I’ve been using GG4 w/ super slip and like it. It’s a little more forgiving and does slide easier.

So if I want to stick with my Sorbo 3x4 quicksilver channels I need this handle, correct?

A few years back I actually won’t a free complete Unger ninja squeegee, I’m assuming when they came out? Anyways. Loved the handle so I put it on my employers channels. Left FISH and forgot to take my handle with me. :astonished: But lately I’ve been using the plus pro and really like them.

The contour plus pro “E-1012”?

Me too, on both counts.

Honestly, mspetty93 I think your ready to go… Don’t spend anymore money until you start making it…

I’m not a big fan of Track Brushes.

They are just to ‘bristly.’

I use paint brushes.
(but that’s just me)

I prefer bullrings instead of belt clips. Just more durable.

I use the old style holsters in lieu of bull rings.

But that’s only because my guys would find some way to rub up against/scratch a car from 20 feet away.
I swear, they’d find SOME WAY to rub up against it.

Plus I already have a 24" channel and handle, a ninja channel, two 18" mop covers, and a 6 inch channel.

Anything else you guys can think of before I send in my order?

I personally like the unger double loop belt. It’s a lot more durable.

Oh, and don’t forget the UpDoc. And I assume you already have to 2 turntables and a microphone?

Looks like the only thing you’re missing is ordering from WCR and becoming a WCRA member so you can use some marketing benefits that will help you make more money.

Other than that you’re looking pretty solid to get going on route work.
