Tried to post in appropiate area but was told I don’t have access

anyways

have a lady who want s me to clean her plantation shutters…

how much to charge?

any ideas

I charge high for stuff I don’t want to do. Plantation shutter cleaning would fall into that category. $2 for each minute it should take me. So if they aren’t too dirty, prolly $15/shutter set.

That price seems low to me I charge $15 each so a pair $30, blinds are $15 each any size

It depends on the size. The important thing was that if I estimate 10 minutes per set, it’s $20. And so on.

The shutters for me are usually faster than blinds

I called a blind cleaning company they quoted $20-25 per shutter

Its my personal experience that bird sh!t don’t come off those things too easily, but it may just be Jersey birds

If i could make that kind of money on jealousies i would be filthy rich. Just make it worth you time…

I charge between $5 and $20 per crank, depending on how many panes

Yeah that’s what I hear about those Jersey birds, they are really tough… and their poo is too. Also I hear they will give you crap for everything.

We charge $15-25 per shutter/wood blind for a thorough vacuum and hand clean. We get plenty of takers.
It’s less when we can throw a blind in our ultrasonic machine back at the shop.
