Plastic scraper?

Working at the Fire Dept. today and we came across a new subdivision during training. We did a walk through to get an idea of layout and what not. I of course was checking out the windows which still had the stickers on them. I believe these were Anderson windows. I noticed a small sticker that said something to the fact that these had tempered glass and the stickers should only be removed with something like a plastic scraper. I’m new to the biz and haven’t done CCU, and was just wondering if others have seen this and actually do use a plastic scaper. If so, what kind? Just curious. Thanks.

It’s a GANA ploy. Plastic scrapers do more damage to bad glass because they trap FD in the plastic and then you can scratch any piece of glass (annealed or tempered) w/ the FD laden plastic scraper.
