Well today I had the opportunity to play with the Liquidator Squeegee. This is the same one shown at the IWCA show. (there’s only one Liquidator in North America at the moment) So I had to give it back. ;(
Quick review.
The new handle takes a bit of getting used to. The angle feels more pronounced compared to Unger’s Ergotec. The handle will swivel and you can adjust the tension (Like the Unger Swivel loc) and it can also lock into a zero degree position, a big plus.
The channel is quite light but feels strong. They will come in sizes ranging from 6" up to 22" but 10" 14" and 18" are the first to be produced. On my 2 or 3 goes with the squeegee I could easily see very little water left on the edges. I did notice the rubber in this sample squeegee was already pretty worn and I’m sure I would have had perfect results with a fresh blade. Also my skills have dwindled a bit having been out of the field for a bit.
The channel is compatible with any of there popular handles from Unger and Pulex that grip both the channel and the rubber and of course all other Moerman handles.
The Rep told me he’ll be visiting WCR soon so Chris and Alex can give you more WCR info regarding the Liquidator.
I was lucky the Moerman rep was in Canada visiting the Canadian Master distributor for their products so I was able to get a visit.
