Poles vs ladders

Although you could use a bigger swivel squeegee in the hand.
As well as on you pole here’s some examples.

Garbage !! Use a 24” squeegee 22” strip washer and save your back. It has its place for Certain windows , not to do route work all day :rofl:.
Been doing this over 20 years never seen anyone around here ever using one on route work.
“ EVER “. There’s a reason for that.

Ya the wagtail is good for a window here and a window there. It’s just like a ledger . Use it for these certain windows.
I’m not going to pull into a center with 100 big plates of glass and break out my wagtail.
Buy it it’s a tool , I’m sure it will be used for something. Trust me if I thought it was easier an faster to use a wagtail for route work I’d of bought one already. I’d have a whole truck load of them.
24” 22” is where it’s at for route work. “ Period “ of course your need smaller squeegees. For smaller glass . Common sense

If you call this hard , but it’s takes a new guy sometime to get good at it.

This is how I do route work all day long . those tops get pulled straight down. No need for a wagtail

Wet the window squeegee the window. Not wet and clean at the same time . All day long . No thanks to much torque on your body.

I don’t know man it’s the way I was taught ; and I don’t see why I should change. Wet the tops pull the tops straight down to hand level. Use a good size squeegee and strip I don’t see any faster way.

They like the wagtail clause it looks cool , it ain’t faster. No way !!

You don’t need to fan with and extension pole lol.

I love wagtail. It saves me a shitload of time on large plates. Especially on glass that steams off the instant you wet the glass. I straight pull where I see fit but I don’t have time to constantly swap tools on my pole.

For Me, I am a fan of Sorbo Channels but I pair them to the Ettore Pro+ system. I find that Ettore handles are more ergonomic and like them better. That said on large windows, I use a 30 inch channel, on doors and 18 inch channel, and so forth. The channels are largely self adjusting/forgiving when it comes to newbies doing pole work. I don’t have time for doing things as slowly as has been pictured in the videos above but need to be more efficient.
