Hey guys one of my window cleaning customers wants her outdoor furniture power washed. Should I do a low pressure rinse or should I downstream or apply some some laundry detergent to the cushions then rinse.
I was thinking of putting a cap full on tide in a fiver and then downstream scrub if necessary then rinse.

Cleaning Windows is Just My Job, Not My Life…
I’m assuming that these cushions are the outdoor type and meant to be outside during bad weather? I would try to get out as much water as possible…try putting a cushion in a trash bag, close the ends of the bag around a shop vac house. Then prop them up and put a fan on them.
I have a customer that calls me out every spring once the pollen is gone to pressure wash their deck and pool area and usually all of their furniture and cushions are covered in yellow powder. I’ve never had an issue cleaning them with just water from my washer. Unless they have green algae or black mold you can usually get by with just spraying water from your washer on them. After you wash them just stand them up on their edge and let the water run out of them while your washing other things. Sometimes they’re pretty dry after your done with everything else.
