Pressure Washing Dirty Vented Soffit

Hi there everyone!

Our business is a full service property maint. company and I have a very large house that is requesting a bid for window cleaning. While there I saw other services the potential client may want (mulching, powerwashing, and aluminum brightening). I am considering giving him additional bids for services while presenting the window bid. This house is located lakeside and the soffits (vented) are filthy! They are white aluminum and are full of cobs, dirt, debris ect. I have concerns about power washing up at the vented soffit as if water gets in there it will eventually come back down and leave streaks and debris behind.

This being said, how do you power wash vented soffit overhangs without having this issue?

Also, the aluminum is white and has the same streaks as the gutters. I believe this would fall under brightening. What do you run per LF for brightening?

Thanks!

If you SoftWash the house, you won’t have to worry about the vented soffit. There’s not much force to really force water into the vents, it just cleans the surface. As far as the gutter brightening, that’s what we call it as opposed to aluminum brightening. You’ll want to use a product called F13 Gutter Grenade to clean those exterior stripes off the gutters.

Maybe go a little heavy on the soap to help with the bugs and cobwebs.
