Hello WCR community! Thank you all for being here. My business is starting and thankfully moving forward. I’m a good technician but new to the business end. I was wondering about proposal writing. Are there free templates available, anywhere? Just starting out so can’t afford to purchase pre-designed professional templates. Any suggestions to get started? Thanks.
Welcome. You could look at office supply stores to get a basic idea of what you need and then a simple word document w/ your logo could get you started. Of course a WCRA membership when you’re ready will provide you w/ a ton of free documents and sales pieces.
You can buy generic estimate and invoice booklets at staples.
I started using invoice2go app on my smart phone. Its very handy if you have a customers email. You can do estimates and invoice with that app. Good luck!
This is exactly what I did for the longest time. Just a simple word document w/ logo, based on a Template in Microsoft Word. Not the prettiest, but very functional.
Look up fresh books on line. They a free and a paid service you can use.
I recently downloaded that on my Droid. It’s great IMO.
