Public Schools

Anybody had much success with selling services to public schools? Conventional wisdom, at least here in Ohio, is they don’t have the $.

But anybody found something that works? I’ve seen a few pics here (i.e. Noble Window Cleaning) of companies that have been successful in doing so. Thanks in advance.

Public Schools never have any money. Never done window cleaning for them but have done snow plowing for them.

I do window cleaning for a few private schools.

I just received a call from huge public school. They want a six month contract to clean all the glass at all the campuses. She said she just found me online. First call in 6 years from a public school.

Get that job, son!

Private and college, 30 years can’t ever remember a call from public.

At my prices, I doubt it. She said they are taking two other bids.

Sell the value, justify your prices!

Obviously. But, we are talking about a public school. They won’t care about value. I guarantee it’ll be price price price.

That’s a misconception… They still spend money likes its going out of style.

Maybe in Texas.

You might be surprised

I work in public schools. It’s price price price cuz it’s taxpayer dollars at stake.

Not on cleaning contracts! - especially here in Florida. Two years ago, I saw the winning bid for a county public school pressure washing contract near us (PW all surfaces of the buildings and concrete) and it was less than a cent a square foot bro. :frowning:

We’ve done some work for private schools in the past, but never public.
