So I have a cosco “little giant wannabee” the ladder is great, because I only have a car, so it just folds up and fits in the back seat. I got it at walmart about 4 years ago, it’s the only ladder that I use I wanted to get some leveloks, because of the safety benefits. I am just curous about how they will work because my ladder at both ends have an angled base, unlike the straight base like a normal extension ladder. Will Leveloks still work? or will it cause them to be weaker because they will be at an angle?
PS it said I didn’t have authorization to post this in the misc. equipment section.
I use the same ladder, the gorrila ladders from holmes depot. Love em. I used to put it in my car way back when as well. Level locks wont work on those ladders though man.
If it is dirt that you are putting the ladder on, I usually just dig a little hole where that part is higher. Takes 2 minutes.
Hate to disagree but I have had Leveloks on my LG knockoff and the base section of my sectional ladder for over 5 years. Works great. Couldn’t work without my Leveloks.
Check w/ Levelok. They aren’t designed to be used w/ pressure at any angle except down. I use the Pivit tool w/ my LG knockoff or the leveler designed by LG. If the leveler fails and it wasn’t designed to be used on the ladder you have it on you won’t have any recourse if you get hurt (or worse someone else using the ladder gets hurt).
