Quickbooks online vs desktop?

Not sure. I only have 2 monthly customers, and one I invoice in person. I think you can on the desktop site? You can definitely our monthly expenses to reoccur automatically… We’re primarily resi and quarterly commercial.

Sorry.

there is a “make recurring” feature for invoices. i have used it for payables but not receivables. for payables you can set it to be auto or manual.
their support is quite good you may want to start the free trial under a dummy email to play.
there is a choice of scheduled unscheduled or reminder.
and a variety of settings for frequency. there is also auto send email or print later

Nice !!! I see it right by options. Automatically send emails.

I’m ding the free trail … Well not right this minute I’m tired

Thanks !

I’m getting in on this discussion kind of late. I have a guy that answers phone and schedules jobs while he is working. When it is a reoccuring client, he never knows when we did it last, how much it cost, or how long it took. He has to call my home, where my wife can look it up on Quickbooks desktop. It is a real hassle, because often my wife is not home.

I tried Quickbooks Online, but it did not have the option Payroll Taxes and Liabilities, which I use to pay payroll taxes each month. It seemed that you have to pay $50/month for them to do your payroll taxes for you. We don’t need anyone to do this, because we have always done it ourselves. Also, when I wanted to come up with a report, the online version couldn’t pull it up.

So, here’s my question. What can I do to get the customer information to my Crew Supervisor out in the field, who is answering phones and scheduling besides going to Quickbooks online? Anyone have an idea?

Another issue with QBO is tha payroll is costly. No thanks. I would rather save the cash for a nice laptop and carry it around

the customer factor integrates with qbo or qbd

How do you give them the job information now?

the customer factor

I have used both, Quickbooks Desktop for 7 years and Quickbooks Online for 3 months and i would say that I liked the mobility of Quickbooks online but missed the functionality of Quickbooks desktop and then finally switched to Hosted Quickbooks from [techarex networks](http://www.techarex.net) to have a blend of both and I am loving it.

looks really cool but seems very expensive.
adding the customer factor to quickbooks or qbo gives you vastly more power than either at a very low price.
i hardly ever look at quick books anymore.
