A potential client sent me images of her house (2 story, vaulted ceiling) and I quoted her around $500, then she proceeds to tell me the exterior windows have never been washed since the house was built 1.5 years ago. Should I up my quote or how should I proceed? I would like the job, but I have to travel 35 miles one way and I don’t know the condition of the windows without seeing them in-person. I appreciate the help!
35 miles is nothing. Go look at it.

How do you bid a residential construction clean? I’ve never done a construction clean.
At least 3 times what a normal clean is. Also know when to not use a razor blade. Learn what fabricating debris is.

All phone quotes are ball park and contingent on actually putting eyes on the job. Many folks just look at it as “clean my windows”, the person doing the work looks at it like “remove stucco without scratching glass, remove paint without scratching glass, hard water deposits without scratching the glass, obstacles like landscaping, bird cage pools, and ceramic tile roofs” all play a role in pricing that can only be determined by you actually laying eyes on the job.
