THIS IS MY FIRST POST. iM 21 YEARS OLD AND HAVE ESTABLISHED A WINDOW CLEANING BUSINESS 2 YEARS AGO, BUT DIDNT DO MUCH WITH IT UNTILL ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO AFTER BEING LAID OFF. ANYWAYS…
IT SEEM AS THO AFTER I FINISH SQUEEGEEING THE WINDOW, I AM ALWAYS FACING A NEW CHALLENGEL. IM TALKING ABOUT WATER SPOTS ON THE EDGES OF THE WINDOWS. I WIPE THEM DOWN AND STILL HAVE EITHER STREAKS OR THE SAME WATERSPOTS. I KNOW ITS NOT HARD WATER. IT TENDS TO COME OFF WITH A FRESH MICROFIBER RAG. ANY SUGGESTIONS???
Thats your problem, Microfibers are not good for detailing the edges after you squeegee the window, buy your self blue huck towels like mentioned above… Aka (surgical towels) that will solve your problem.
Q: What do you use huck rags for if you are a window cleaner???
A: Wiping edges (detailing windows)
Q: What’s in the solution that you use to detail the windows???
A: Some kind of window cleaning soap!!! (dish soap, or professional window cleaning solutions)
Q: Why do window cleaners use dish soap or special window cleaning solutions???
A: Because unlike laundry soap and softeners that can leave a residue behind they are made to be spot free just like on your dishes so dish soaps are less likely to leave residue.
Q: So why not add soap to a load of used huck rags???
A: Because they already have soap on them from detailing. And the soap that is on them is not only enough to get them CLEAN, but it won’t leave residue on your rags.
Q: what is your Paypal address so we can donate to your awesome interview brandon???
A: That won’t be necessary.
