Removing stuck tip on surface cleaner

I have a Whisper Wash classic with a clogged spray tip. I need to remove the tip to get it unclogged, but the little bugger won’t budge. I’ve tried a wrench and ratchet. Any suggestions?

Weird.
It’s a steel tip in an aluminum bar and they usually come out easily. Is the bar deformed?

No the bar seems fine. We have really hard water. Could 3-4 years of use have created enough mineral deposits to kind of cement it in?

I’m assuming they are screwed in the traditional “righty-tightly” way.

Got it out!

Turns out I needed to leverage my weight a little and just give it a go. Came loose. If you have any tips for unclogging a tip, feel free to pass it along. Thanks!

Yeah you need a breaker bar to get it off, spray it with brake cleaner or something like that and use a pin or a needle to unclog the tip

If it’s just mineral deposits? if so you can soak it in some one restore as long as it long as it it doesn’t have rubber gaskets.

What @Steve076 says. Buy some xtra tips also

Yeah I appreciate all the advice. It did occur to me while I was picking at this thing that new ones only like $5 each and these are 3.5 years old.

I hate to be wasteful, but that seems like a justifiable expense
