Nope, but I’ll take some free samples and give a video report!

Have you paid your $100 yet?

Great Job on the roof but will it kill the landscaping? Is there a rinse step involved?

It can kill the landscaping if you’re not careful. You need Keep runoff to a minimum. Keep the landscaping saturated, not just wet. Have a guy on the ground keeping things saturated and there for safety reasons. You should also tarp plants where needed and bag downspouts.

The chemical has an extremely short self life. Both sun light and heat speed up the self degradation, so after a couple of hours on a roof the chem has become almost inert and isn’t much of a threat to plants.

Will you eventually kill a plant when roof cleaning? Yep, but if do what your supposed to it will be rare.

Afterall, your saving on average for me a 10k roof - making it look new again and adding years back to it’s useful life. You should be prepared to replace a 30 dollar plant IF you burn one.

We are considering adding this service to our business. Realizing that market areas differ, what would be the average cost to clean a roof on a home 2200 sq ft?

I don’t give out pricing on open forums any more but be sure to check out the new roof cleaning poll in the WCRA forum.

As far as chemicals go, is there a any ones that come highly recommended? We are thinking about adding roof washing to our services and I am looking for a company to supply us with the chemicals and technical support that will help get us started in that direction. I have reached out to dcs1.com for some info as well.

I havent used it. I do have a pair of khakis that have bleach spots on the lower legs from the powdered bleach demo in Charleston.
They had put down a pretty stout demo on a sidewalk while it was raining. While I stood there beside it it splashed all up my legs.
