Rounded window up high with 12" brush

I have a courthouse to do with curved windows that are 45’ high to the top of the curve. I have a 12" brush on my pole. The glass is 34" wide which means that the radius is 17". That makes getting to the very top difficult. I’ve been told that I should not wash over the top of the window frame. This does not seem possible to overcome. I thought about cutting the brush. What do you suggest?

Not exactly sure I know what the problem is … but I’ve washed above the frame. Just wash the top two feet or so, let dry, and then wash the rest except the top (a little overlap is expected :)). Its worked for me.

By the way … you are talking about a wfp right?

You should rotate your brush head, put in vertical or on an angle.
I don’t know if I did understand correctly, but that what I’ve mentally pictured.

If you are talking about a WFP there should be no problems. I assume you are talking about the halfmoon type glass. You can WFP the top part just use the bend in your pole to help get into the rounded corners.

thanks for the tip, I’ll it.

Yes, I am using a wfp Eagle flip lock

I use swivel brushes, you could make a similar one by removing the spring from an unger cone and sanding the plastic till it moves slightly within the alu pole, then put it on an unger cranked angle and affix the brush and you will be able to adjust the angle of the brush from the ground with a twist of your wrist gripping the pole. It takes a little practice. Its not how I do it, I have developed my own way of swivelling but for others its a bit of diy fun for a sat morning !

Bill,
I’ve been trying to find out if wfp system really works for res. work. It seems as if it would leave spots etc on the glass, and stains on house below window. Why is that not true?
Interested in wfp. LinO

The reason wfp’s do not leave spots is do to the low tds of the water, if there is no dissolved solids in the water it can’t leave spots on the windows. The systems we use is the same as the system car washes use (only on a smaller scale) this is the same reason your car has no spots on it after you have it cleaned.

Bill are you saying that you have never come across a situation that 000tds water has left spots ?

The only time I have ever had spots with a 0 tds is on houses I have cleaned in the past by hand and the spots are just soap from GG4 and Dawn. All you need to do is a second rinse with the DI and the spots are gone.

No it does not and we have done 100’s home the last 20years with wfp!
Phil

Agreed.

Same problem that OWC is having in his thread question.

If you’d left the Dawn out & you would have had a 100% record
