First post! Yay! So we have a customer who’s home has copper gutters. He asked us to look into what chemical/product whould be safe to use on copper gutters. We did some research already but only found 1 chemical to avoid (zinc sulfate monohydrate). Other than that is it all safe? How is one to know? 
Soak pennies in all the chemicals you’re thinking of using and if they melt, explode or are otherwise negatively affected, don’t use it 
I can’t imagine there are many cleaning chemicals that you’d use that will negatively affect it beyond cleaning it
