Hey fellas,

Does anyone here have a copy of the current (2001) ANSI I-14.1 Safety Standard for Window Cleaning. I’d like to reference it for multiple reasons.

Thanks Chris. I am trying to bid a job here at the local university. It is 52’ to the top of the highest window. We are cleaning the fans, windows (in/Out) and dusting the ledges. I’d like to know what the standard says regarding safety and use of elevated platforms (electric manlifts), hard hats, harnesses, fall protection, and limiting the accessibility of the area to the public (if there are any rules on much of this), and operations in doors.

I’d also like to have it for use in presenting the safety “edge” that my company offers over others. I will be using some useful facts for my project proposals.
