Scratches on tint

wanted to get some suggestions to polish out some scratches on tinted glass. i read cerium oxide can be too abrasive on tint side of glass. what other polishes might do the trick

I’ve never heard of anything. Is it a bonded tint or film? @Kyle, didnt you tint? (sorry if I have the wrong person)

If its a tinted film applied after manufacturing then very doubtful there is anything that can be done other than replacement.

tinted mirror finish from the factory can be cleaned with Boni Ami powder.
It might work on tint that is applied on dirt but scratches will not
come off because tint is plastic film and the scratches on in the tint.
I carry this all the time and it work great when you need the extra
dirt removal .

If the tint is scratched… you are screwed. I would make a relationship with a local install company that will replace the glass unit only and not the entire window. Good Luck

Wouldn’t it be cheaper to replace the tint ?

I must have read the post wrong, I thought it was referring to factory tint. But yes, if it is after market tint then yes, you have to replace the tint.
