Screen Magic Question

Have tried SM on a few screens seems to work.</SPAN>

Have noticed on the back where the directions are where the Do Not Use is</SPAN>
That not to use indoors, OVER CEMENT, ASPHALT, Furniture without a tarp.</SPAN>

What would SM do to CEMENT or ASPHALT if got into contact with them? </SPAN>
And why?</SPAN>

I believe it will stain (do not know if it would be permanent), It is slicker than snot, and if one were to get any on the bottom of your shoes it is kind of like being a a ice skate rink without the skates.

ditto

Had a good look it says on the front that it is Biodegradable, Phosphate – Free, Petroleum- Free, ECO – Friendly and Non- Toxic.</SPAN>

So when you said stain do you mean leave a clean spot? </SPAN>

As it cleans the screens, in which way would that affect cement or asphalt other wise?</SPAN>
]
And Or are they only referring to the SM concentrate?</SPAN>

It seems as though Sm is similar to another product that is used for concrete cleaning.</SPAN>

Will try it, see how it cleans screens. </SPAN>

I know the post is a little old but here is the answer anyway.

Your correct it will leave a clean spot if it comes in contact with petrolium. Many indoor Items have patrolling in them like carpet for example. so to be safe use a tarp. In my home I don’t use one because I don’t have to worry about a picky customer (my wife). All the spots will go away some quicker than others.

If you spray it on black assault that spot will stay their for months. On cement it will disapeare as it dries but you will notice it when it rains for a little bit. I know your use to putting them on the driveway to spray or scrub them but with Screen magic put them over grass or gravel or prop them up against the back block wall. Screen Magic won’t hurt grass or plants. I poured a gallon of it in my front yard just to make sure. Didn’t make it any greener but did not kill it either, no effect what so ever.

One import caution. DO NOT lean them up against the garage door and then spay them. Most garage doors are painted with that vinyl type of paint and that has a lot of petroleum in it. It will leave a outline of the screens on the garage door. Now for all the above if you do need to treat it dawn soap works the best, other than the asphalt it will usually go away in a couple of weeks.
